the M6; Penrith and A66:-

| Follow
A66 towards Keswick and take the exit signed to
Keswick/Windermere A 591. At the junction with the
A591 on Chestnut Hill, turn left, up the hill, towards
Windermere. Passing Manor Brow on the right,
continue up the hill for a total of 0.6 miles. The
next right is Rakefoot Lane (there is a large, brown
tourist sign to Castlerigg Hall and the Heights).
Turn right and travel 0.2 miles to The Heights Hotel.

Follow
A591 towards Keswick. After passing the
Keswick Town boundary sign, take the next left
into Rakefoot Lane and continue 0.2 miles to The
Heights Hotel. A large brown tourist sign
says Castlerigg Hall, Castlerigg Farm and The
Heights
